HONEOYE FALLS — With its sights set on a second consecutive sectional championship, Batavia knew it would have to go through rival HF-L if it hoped to fulfill the high expectations it set for itself this season. Using an explosive first-half effort, the Blue Devils powered past the host Cougars, 35-20, to improve to 7-0 with one game remaining until the postseason. The show is being held Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th from 10-5 at the Alexander Fireman’s Recreation Hall. Some of the profit from the show goes directly to our local veterans. None of those experiences have been more fulfilling than what she encountered this summer during a 2,700-mile cross-country bikepacking journey known as the Tour Divide. Tim Hortons executives gathered for a grand opening and ribbon-cutting Friday morning outside the building. ST. CHARLES – St. Charles East was trying to make its Senior Night memorable for the Class of 2023 Friday night at Norris Field and it almost succeeded. The Saints kept pace with DuKane Conference rival Batavia in the first half, trailing by a touchdown at the intermission, 14-7.
